GDPR, KRS, Constitution for business - training

Dodano: April 2018

On April 20, 2018, in the Vienna House Andel 's Hotel in Krakow, the lawyers from our Law Firm conducted training for clients on significant changes regulating the activities of entrepreneurs.
The conference was attended by over 40 people from various industries (real estate, finance, production, trade, IT, municipal economy, etc.). Training topics have been divided into two parts.

The first part, led by att. Dominika Woźniak and att. Magdalena Wojnarowska, included discussing the new obligations that await entrepreneurs in connection with the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (GDPR).

Issues related to the tasks of individual entities in the data processing process, documents and procedures that entrepreneurs should introduce and the rights of persons whose data is processed by the entrepreneur are widely discussed. Lawyers also pointed out the sanctions that can be imposed on entrepreneurs for non-compliance with the new provisions on the protection of personal data. There were also practical issues. Participants learned how to meet the requirements of GDPR for entrepreneurs.

It is worth adding that the presentation was not limited to lawyers' speeches and was supplemented with IT issues. Here, representatives of the GEBUKO sp. z o.o. shared their knowledge.

In the second part of the training, att. Łukasz Mróz and legal counsel trainee Wojciech Kremer presented the participants with new regulations regarding the National Court Register. In addition, changes to the provisions regarding the provision of so-called improper joint proxies and related to "abandoned" companies, including modification of the institution of a probation officer and changes in the possibility of pursuing claims.

Submitting reports for 2017 to the National Court Register was another topic. Lawyers presented the principles of operation of the new IT system.
The topic of the Business Constitution was also raised, including the new Entrepreneurs' Law, replacing the Act on freedom of economic activity of 2004.

Also in this part of the training there were lively discussions related to practical problems of entrepreneurs, such as submitting reports by foreigners without a PESEL number, or the possibility of appointing a proxy.
